Frequently asked questions
Where does the data come from?
Listing and shop information is requested from the official Etsy Open API v3 using public, read-only endpoints. KeyLens does not access any seller account or private data.
Do you store my data on a server?
No. Settings and cached statistics are stored locally in your browser using Chrome storage. Nothing is sent to KeyLens servers — there are none.
Are sales numbers exact?
Views, favorites and shop sales come straight from the API. Per-listing sales are not published by the marketplace, so KeyLens only shows them as clearly labeled estimates.
Does KeyLens change anything on my shop?
No. KeyLens is read-only. It never creates, edits or deletes listings, orders or messages.
